Nandi Valley Winery is a
Bangalore-based wine producer catering to wine connoisseurs and novices alike
with an array of exquisite wines through its flagship brand-‘Kinvah’ and also a
soon to be released, excellent host of wines sourced from the best winemakers of
India and abroad like ‘Drakshe’ from Hampi Heritage Wines, Karnataka; ‘Tiger
Claw’ from AD Wines, Maharashtra, Harman’s Margaret River from Australia and
many more.
With a winery and operations spread over a 250 acre vineyard
located in Bijapur, Nandi Valley Winery plans to expand its horizons with a
second unit of 500 acres near Bangalore which is being nurtured to produce ten
million liters of wine. Bangalore’s cool climate along with the apt soil
conditions of the Nandi Valley region after which we are named makes it an ideal
location for wine grape farming.
Nandi Valley Winery is thus stepping into the emerging wine domain of Karnataka
with wines that are selected on stringent specifications to ensure perfection in
the final quality in terms of taste and aroma.
India always had a sparkling relationship with wine. Historical evidences point
at wines well-imbued into the winerycultural and social fabric of a nation that
has always upheld the principle of responsible drinking.
Celebration, revelry or health –whatever the reason, wine has never been far from
the Indian palate. In fact, wine has been considered as a ‘gift of the gods’
since it is the only fermented beverage found in nature. The natural yeasts
available in the skin of red grapes can lead to the formation of wine in the
ripe grape itself.
The yesterdays of wine have seen many a rise and fall in popularity. But today,
wine in India has come of age. Indian wines have scaled heights to be on par
with till-now favored French and Italian wines. And the wine scene is suddenly
splashed with hues ranging from red to rose, blended in wineries established on
Indian soil.
Stepping into the emerging wine realm of Karnataka is Nandi Valley Winery, with
its wide range of the most delectable wines sourced from some of the best
winemakers of India and abroad. Nandi Valley Winery offers connoisseurs and
novices alike a memorable taste of this delicious tradition through three
categories – Kinvah from Hampi Hertitage Wines, Karnataka; Pibantu from AD
Wines, Maharashtra & Harman’s Margaret River from Australia.
